We've also started a short assignment. We had chosen an emotion, in my case hate, and were tasked to create a single line animation that represents that emotion. For an example, a surprised line may be linear and suddenly spike. Since my line is suppose to represent hate, I imagine it will be jagged and maybe erratic.

Week 1B
In class, we created a short 10-frame animation using a praxinoscope. Using this animation device, I was able to create the illusion of a pocket watch swinging back and fourth with some success. The most difficult part where I had run into issues was consistency with my drawings. Some of them were drawn off center, making the animation appear to be "jumpy" when placed inside the praxinoscope. Now that I understand how the device works, i'll be able to use it successfully next time.
