Week 1 Outside of Class

Outside of class, I've finished creating my line representing hatred. When I visualize hatred, I imagine it to be rough, jagged, and moving downwards as it is a self-destructive emotion. What was challenging about this assignment was determining how a line representing hate would look different compared to a line representing anger, which is somewhat similar in a way. The way I differentiated the two was by recording myself demonstrating what hatred might look like. In my recording, I was more relaxed compared to how I may have looked if I demonstrated what anger would look like. I was able to put this into my animation by making the line not spike too often and keeping the pattern consistent. Although the assignment wasn't too difficult, it was very time consuming. It only makes me wonder how time consuming traditional animation was.
